Antistatic bigbags are products that eliminate threats caused by the accumulation or discharge of static energy. The main purpose of use is to prevent electric current/shock that may occur during the use of the bag. These bigbags, produced with the IEC 61340-4-4 standard, are divided into two groups in terms of their static properties.
- FIBC TYPE-B
They are standard bigbags. It is produced from low tension fabric. Particular attention should be paid to environmental factors during use. It should not be used in places with flammable or explosive gas. These bigbags, which can be produced with or without a liner, safely transport products in the form of dry and flammable powders.
- FIBC TYPE-C
These are conductive big bags. There are conductive threads in the corpus. Each of these conductive threads are in contact with each other and ensure the transmission of the released energy to the ground. This safely neutralizes the released energy. Products in the form of combustible dust can be transported with these big bags. The ones used, namely the grounding mechanism, must not be damaged. Before using such big bags, make sure that the grounding mechanism is correctly positioned and not damaged.
